Ronnie
Coleman
Ronnie was born Ronald Dean Coleman on May 13, 1964
in Monroe, Louisiana. His height is 5 feet 11 inches,
and he currently lives in Arlington, Texas. He
graduated from Grambling State College in Louisiana,
with a degree in accounting. He lives in Arlington,
Texas and works as a police officer. He has been a
police officer since 1989.
He was introduced into competition bodybuilding by
Brian Dobson, the owner of Arlington's Metro Flex Gym.
His first bodybuilding contest was in April 1990, at
the Mr. Texas. He won first heavyweight and overall.
His contest weight is around 229 pounds, while his
offseason weight hovers around 250. He met his
girlfriend Vickie Gates, an IFBB pro bodybuilder, in
1992 at a GNC store.
9 times Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman, has beaten
Arnold Schwarzenegger to become the world greatest
bodybuilder in history.

Arnold Schwarzenegger
"I
want to be the best-built man in the world!"
Hearing this from their 13-year-old son, Gustav and
Aurelia Schwarzenegger just sighed and shook their
heads. They'd always had their suspicions, but now
those suspicions had been confirmed. They started to
look for "psychiatrist" in the Graz Yellow
Pages.
But Arnold was serious. At 14, he started an
intensive training program with Kurt Marnul, the
former Mr. Austria. At 15, he studied psychology with
Dr. Karl Gerstl to learn more about the power of mind
over body. At 17, he officially started his
competitive career. And at 18, he got thrown in jail.
And so, in 1970, at the age of 23, he had achieved
what he'd set out to accomplish just 10 years earlier.
He was, by any and every measure, the best-built man
in the world. And he would continue to hold that crown
for many years to come. He won an unprecedented seven
Mr. Olympia titles before he retired. And the only
reason he retired was that he had begun acting in
motion pictures and now he had a new goal -- to be the
most popular film star in the world.
From Hercules in New York to Collateral Damage,
Arnold has always been a big screen presence. You know
that Arnold is box office muscle. You know that ACTION
is his middle name, (Alois means "Action" in
Austrian, really). You know Arnold has been part of
some of the most explosive films ever made in
Hollywood.
"You think when you come here, "you're
the big star, you're going to inspire them..."
but in the end, with their courage, they are the ones
who've inspired you." - Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I'm going to be the governor of California.
